Rapid urbanization and improved socioeconomic status from past few decades has resulted in high vehicular growth. India is urbanizing at rapid pace with urban population rising much faster than its total population, which leads to swift rise in traffic and congestion, necessitates systematic traffic studies and planning, which should be resolved by following:
- Traffic impact studies, modelling and forecasting
- Temporary Traffic Diversion and Detouring Plan
- Junction improvement, Traffic signal and network design
- Parking management and traffic circulation plans.
